A SEAL's salary

I would think that a SEAL would get a higher salary than a standard soldier or seaman. While a SEAL's salary might not be sky high, I would think it still would be better than what a regular soldier makes, and it should be considering all the stuff that SEALs do. I think perhaps it might even be competitive with a high ranking officer's salary.

A SEALs pay would be his base pay, for his given rank, + hazardous duty pay and hostile fire pay if in combat.

add all this up and military career men get paid fairly well, around as much as a doctor when you compare time served....the only difference is the seals dont cure aids they cure RAG DISEASE Hoo-Ah!

Not really. An E-6 w/ 8yrs TIS, getting jump, dive AND hazardous duty pay, is only making $40,000 a year- not a lot these days. An E-7 w/ 16yrs in is making $52K. Do you know any doctors that, after 16 years of practicing, make only 50 grand a year? Maybe in some 3rd world countries but not in the US.
