What it should have been...
Is it me or should this film have been set in 1983 in Beirut. Having read Chuck Pfarrer's memoirs I can't help but think that a film based on his experiences in Beirut would have been better.

I dunno he had a few run ins in Beirut and they were out on patrol practically every day. It would also be a chance to show the Marine Barack Bombing in a film, something that not a lot of people really remember.

Not really. They didn't leave Beirut until something like 6 months after the bombing. They spent some time after trying to find the people responsible if I remember the book rightly.
