Finding weaknesses in BUDS

From what I know about BUDS, they exploit the students until they find weaknesses and they always do find a weakness from the extreme exploitation they do. The fact of the matter is, though, everybody has weaknesses because everybody has limits. Lets say theres this guy who can do 100 pushups, in that case they can have him do 200 pushups, then if he can do that they can have him do 300 pushups and they can keep going up and up until they reach his limit. Everybody has limits so its really not all that hard to find weaknesses in a person, you just have to find their limits.

You should be an instructor at BUD/S they could use your expertise to revolutionize training and instead of turning tadpoles into frogs, they could turn tadpoles into armchair wannabes.

The instructors don't need to find any weaknesses. The nature of the program will do that by itself. The instructors want to see what ever man's reaction is when he is pushed to his physical limits, regardless of how many pushups, situps, pullups or whatever. BUDS is a test of the mind a lot more than it is a test of the body.

I see. A lot of the eastern martial arts are more tests of the mind than they are tests of the body too.
