Funniest Parts

I may be in the minority with seeing this film as a pitch-black comedy, but after many years after initial viewing/appreciation for the King elements and Bates divine acting, I find that I laughed my a** off at several instances

- Final Fight
- Wrong paper scene ("Mr. MAN!" and her scowls while driving/coming back to the house with proper paper were gut-busting)
- Dom Per-IG-Non Champagne xD

Oh Annie... such a deranged creature... Happy 25th to Misery today! :D

Opposing the profanity in his book because he grew up poor and that's the way they talked:

People don't talk like that! What do I do? "Oh here, get me a bag of that effin pig feed. Or here's one big bastard of a check!"

reply

You're such a poet, Paul.

slipped away!!! slipped away!
her reaction to misery dying was priceless

~ TAKE the ticket!

reply

I was laughing during the final fight

I love a lot of the things others have posted, but one I didn't see here was when Annie's driving and almost gets hit by another car, and she yells out her window "You cockadoody!" or something like that. Lol she had some great sayings that made no sense. I also loved when she was chasing Misery the pig out of Paul's room, turned around, and inked at him.

reply

Oinked, not inked

reply

Well isn’t that an oozy mess.

reply

Oogey mess.

Stupid autocorrect.

‘Great, I always wanted to visit the other side of the room’

Then she give him his ‘surprise’ - an electric razor. He depressingly turns it on and off, and then delivers the priceless…

‘If I’d known this was the surprise I would have burned all my books’

reply

“There’s that spice.”

reply

Annie talking about marriage while shaking a bottle of Paul’s fresh piss…

‘It boils down to respect’ (slosh, slosh)

…while Paul watches on with a subtle WTF expression.
