You see them fly Air Jamaica, how did they get all those guns in the country? If I recall correctly, the shot of the plane was after the manly gun montage which would imply they were in America when they tested the weapons.
One may just as easily wonder why the police aren't looking for the guy who's been maiming and killing all those gang members, or why the authorities don't mind Hatcher interfering with their investigation, or why the bad guys would tie Hatcher down with what appears to be videotape, or why he can't take two minutes (tops) to shag the hot voodoo expert lady who's obviously (and inexplicably) attracted to him.
Did Hatcher purchase a huge side of beef just to test out his gun on?

That would have been a funny addition. If the movie was made in today's post-modern era (and wasn't made by idiots), we'd probably get a scene like that. In any event, I hope they didn't test the poison-tipped bullets on it first.
