Why did they call the bad guy Screwface?

Other than a few scar patterns up near his right temple, he had nothing obviously wrong with his face. Was it related to how crazy he was?

He lived the way he died. With a screw through his face.

Maybe because it looks like somebody drove a whole bunch of screws into his face.

It's literally Jamaican/Caribbean slang to make a mean or threatening face. You screw your face up into a scowl that puts fear into the person you are staring at threateningly.
