Very disappointed Marked For death fan here. Just saw the Region 4 release only to find all the good scenes were cut out (ie. leg/arm breaking etc.) - WTF. These scenes were on the VHS version so why would they cut them from the DVD version. I checked on dvdcompare website this is only for Australia and British releases. It's bs..
The same thing happened with the COMMANDO DVD release- it was released uncut in the cinema and on VHS but in a heavily cut form on DVD in R4.
Basically, many R4 DVD's are region 2/4 encoded. Because the BBFC (The British Film Classification Board) is quite strict and edits films for violence, we get the cut UK release.
If you have a region free DVD player, I would order from R1 to ensure you get the uncut films......(although this might be more expensive).
Buy the Holland R2 DVD. Its fully uncut, they always release uncut films, same goes for commando...

ah I see this would explain how I remember renting out the uncut one,then when I bought this I noticed all the good violent bits were cut out....seriously crappy how censorship does that
