when was the first time you watched TCM3???
I saw it about 3 years ago but I used to see it all the time in my video store as a kid. That cover scared the crrap out of me! and the tagline "He puts the Teeth in Terror" ..

i still remember the teaser to it when i saw Elm Street 5 in theaters when i was 8 and thought it was a creepy unexpected trailer and said coming this november and i couldn't wait cause i enjoyed the other 2 but the date was changed to January and i saw in theaters 2 times at 8 and also remembered seeing the trailer to the Ninja Turtles movie (same company) with it which was cool.
"You killed Captain Clown, YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN"-The Joker on Batman TAS
I remember the Excalibur teaser trailer.. had the poster from a local video store.. rented it the first day it came out.. back in the day of vhs.. just today found the R/unrated dvd for 4 bucks and had to grab it.. watching now.
shareawesome, love hearing when everyone first saw Leatherface, especially those who were lucky enough to see it in theatres in 1990. This movie has become a fav of mine over the years.
shareI saw this in the theatre. I was 14 years old and saw it with my older sister. I was a huge horror freak as a kid. This movie didn't dissapoint me. I liked it much better than TCM2 when I saw it but couldn't understand why it wasn't like the original.
I rented it from Hollywood Video in about 2005-2006 and the copy was so scratched that it completely skipped over 20-30 minutes of the movie if I remember correctly. I was so disappointed.
I've been waiting for you, Ben.

"Listen, do you smell something? -Ray Stantz"
I think i first saw it when i was around 7-8. I used to laugh at number one when leatherface was chasing sally. But this one seemed so much more scarier.
shareI saw it at the Drive-In on a double bill with A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 (We left towards the end of that one).
I didn't care much for TCM III for the first 2-3 viewings. I watched it again around 1998 and thought "Hey, this movie is actually pretty good."
I saw it in 1990 when it was in theaters. I took a girl I knew on a movie date, we just went to the local movie-plex with no idea what to see. From what I remember we weren't really interested in anything playing that night and weren't at all enthusiastic about seeing TCM3. I only remember one single thing from seeing it that night: the pickup truck chasing the car at night in the middle of nowhere with its lights off and then suddenly turning them on. I just watched it again yesterday on DVD, I was in the mood to watch the first three TCMs because I was playing Resident Evil 7 which is very obviously heavily influenced by them. I thought TCM3 was way better than I recall from over 25 years ago. Blew me away when I noticed Viggo Mortensen.
shareThis morning.
shareI remember renting it in the early to mid nineties by myself. That’s the first time I watched it, I think.
I still think it’s a pretty enjoyable movie.
