I love this film, it has to be one of my most favorites because of its style and the character of Gere. As someone else said, he has this "cool, unpredictable presence in every scene."
Which brings me to the dream sequence. Does anyone know who did the music for the scene where Ray dreams of shooting Dennis in the club room with the dancing lady?
It is a beautiful piece and I wish to find it if possible.

That would be the director himself who, prior to becoming a filmmaker, was a musician. He's also scored all his other films, although this was undoubtably his finest piece of film music composing.
The sequence you mention is definately one of the highlights of the movie, due in no small part to Andy Garcia's convincingly rat-arsed performance.
I love this movie too I think it's one of Garcia's best. But I wanted to know does anyone know the name of the women who was doing the dancing in that dream sequence? I've seen her before but can't remember where?
shareJ-Duthie would you happen to know the name of the track by Mike Figgis in the dream sequence and if it was ever released. I know it was used in a drum and bass song back in the Techno days in the 90's. Thanks for the help.

Yes, I if most definitely is not Anazia's Dance.
My take on it is that it forms part of the score, composed by Figgis and his associates, and will be unavailable until this fantastic soundtrack gets released. It took Vangelis around 13 years to release Bladerunner; it will have taken longer to get this released, but would be worth it,
Time to start lobbying for a release?!
