What does Peck say at the end?
When Peck is with Kathleen does he say "Would you help me remove my belt?" I couldn't make out what he says. He says the line right before Raymond breaks the glass...

sharei think he says "would you like to help me with something?"
shareNo, I heard that part. It's what he says after that that I didn't hear. Something like "Will you help me remove...?" Thanks for the reply, though. I appreciate it.

i thought he said "would you help me remove my pain" or words to that effect but i thought he said pain after he was talking about how upset he was with his family which was another lie from Peck anyway..
Well i still hear it quite clearly, but if you turn on subtitles, he says 'can i ask you to do something for me please. I want you to help me take my boot off'. He had been shoot in the foot by Steven Arrocas, and taking off his boot would hurt him. He wanted to get the knife so he could murder Kathleen.
That brings me to another point as well. For many of the posters on here who have asked 'why would he kill Kathleen?', the answer is simple: He hates Raymond, and he is a psychopath.
He was very angry with Raymond, to use his own words.
To this day, I love Gere's deadpan delivery of that line. He says something similar to far less effect in "Pretty Woman."
After Raymond messes up Peck's whole, corrupt life, all he can say is that he feels "very ... angry with Raymond"
