You know - the scene right after Raymond slapped his wife in public - he was drinking booze and was having all these hallucinations about his wife shacking up with Dennis - there was this trance-like music playing in the dance club there. What was it? Anybody knows?
shareI asked about this here years ago and even emailed the musicians involved with the soundtrack, but got nowhere. It is an incredibly beautiful but short piece of ambient trance and really ahead of its time for 1990.
What I know is that it was used in a breakbeat techno track that I heard in 1992 or early 1993 and was a clean copy (no sound effects from the film). I'll never forget hearing it. So a clean version is out there somewhere!
I finally got in touch with one of the composers on this film and he has said that it was never released on a soundtrack, that he doesn't have a recording of it, and that the score would be owned by whoever has the current rights to the property.
