So many things to love about this movie

1. Gere choking Baldwin to death and in the process getting genuinely annoyed that Baldwin is not keeping quiet. Love it!!!

2. Gere slapping Baldwin on the face. Not once. Not twice. Not three times a lady. But like a dozen times. Love it!!!

3. Gere's hair. (IMO, Gere never looked better. Comparable to Rourke in 9.5 Weeks)

4. Garcia's hair.

5. Baldwin's hair.

6. Faye Grant's naked tits.

7. She's a dyke! ... It's for you.

So many others...

I also loved the scene in the restaurant where Gere is fondling the lady under the table right beside the husband.

And I love the look on his face when the husband catches him boning his wife up the tuchas. It's the kind of look a little boy would have over eating his favorite ice cream!

ya and when gere finishes boning her , he has the nerve to say to the husband YOU HAVE A WHORE FOR A WIFE, she fks everybody!!

Well I guess all hairdressers & bitch slapping aficionados in the audience will indeed have a delightful evening. Liable to be more problematic for others though.

It should be against the law to use "LOL" unless you really did LOL!

Watched it for the umpteenth time last night. Genuinely intense scenes with great dialogue, too. Much better than most cop thrillers, even now.

I also love the score. It's especially effective in that scene you mentioned with Baldwin getting strangled. The way he kept repeating "I was shot" before Gere got him in the chokehold...chilling.

Only one false moment for me:

"Steven, that's my foot."
