Comic book character inspired by the robot.

The Image Comics character, Superpatriot, created by Erik Larsen for his Savage Dragon comic, is very obviously inspired by the Hardware robot.
Superpatriot has the same flag face with round eye lenses. He is also multifunctional and sometimes multi-limbed, just like our favourite killer cyborg from this film.
Superpatriot has appeared in a few mini series of his own and is a firmly established character in the Image Comics universe.
A really cool toy version came out a few years ago.

I liked this killer robot, very nasty, especially when he cut the corpse in half with the chainsaw, talk about overkill.
But the robot that scares me the most is Hector from the film Saturn 3.

"I'm the guy with the industrial strength dick!"
