What the heck is going on? Why can't we get some movies on DVD yet, especially good ones like Hardware.

It's not available as a Region 1 DVD, but there IS a German Region 2 DVD available. (The German title is M.A.R.K. 13) You have to get a region-free DVD player, though.

It was released, kinda. I sold my copy on ebay a few months back for $122. You just have to want it bad enough :)

Yea, they need to do it up proper, like the Dust Devil 5-disc set that just came out!

None of that full-screen bulls-it either. Wide screen. And am I the only one who hates that "Enhanced for 9x16 Screens" thing? It distorts the picture to fill the screen, what good is that?

Enhanced for 16x9 shouldn't distort the picture if you have your player and TV configured correctly. RTFM

Towards the very end of this article there is a mention of a Hardware Director's cut coming out toward the end of this year.
