remind you of Fallout?
I've seen the movie, played the Fallout games many moons later. some of the elements in Hardware remind me of Fallout, ie the costumes, etc. Good stuff all around.
shareNot especially. There were very vague similarities such as they were in a post apocalyptic future of some sort and a couple of the guys scavenge the wastelands and wear backs with odd gear. Thats about where it stops being similar though.
Hardware seems more social commentary mixed with a sort of haunted house horror flick. The robot is creeping around! and despite the fact that the apt is 500 square feet it is really difficult to find. Maybe if Jill had paid her light bill the suspense could have been avoided.
Bit of a glorified music video much of the time, mixed in with a bit of Naked Lunch for flavor. Not shocking given the creative talents that went into the film.
