Going by yourself terrifies some people - weird huh??

A dear girlfriend and I would disagree heatedly on where to sit for the best effect. So we'd usually separate and sit in different areas for the whole film. I liked that.

I woulda walked out too. Instead, I fell asleep.

What's not to love about this movie: killer robot - check, gore - check, Lemmy from Motorhead - double check!

It was this film that made me vow never to walk out on a film no matter how bad I thought it was. I went to see it with some friends in a not too full cinema, and halfway through quite a number of the audience walked out.

We stayed, and the film only got better from there on in. I thought "how stupid they were" and that I wouldn never walk out til the end of a film from that day on.

I kind of regretted that; I went to watch Terminator 2 some time later, hated that film, but I did stay to the end of that one too.

Once I have started watching a film, I am there for the duration now, so I want to thank the OP for walking out, he probably inspired me to have a bit more patience and enabled me to get to see some classic scenes that I otherwise would have missed.

Frankly it was a movie where the trailer was 10 times better than the finished film!

Its that man again!!
