I noticed this in the credits but I don't know who he is or what he did

I asked myself the same thing: and here was the answer: "Film editor Richard Bedford is best known for his work on the films of pop director Julien Temple, including the Sex Pistols documentary The Great Rock & Roll Swindle (1980). During the 1980's Bedford focused most of his energy working on rock videos and short "rockumentaries." He died while working on his final feature film Hardware which was released in 1990" according to answers.com

Richard Bedford was a film editor known for Shock Treatment, Absolute Beginners and The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle. His NY Times bio says he died while working on this film, but for some reason he is not credited in any way for working on Hardware on IMDB.
