I thought the beginning of the movie was really good.

Great post apocalyptic atmosphere!

That desert, the wind, the sound, the fence, the mines, I don't know... It worked!
I started watching it and I thought to myself WOW! How did I miss this movie until now? The scrap merchant, the city was excellent, the taxi on the water! Beautiful.

And then the actual plot started, and everything went to sh#t.
The sudden change from great to terrible was so sudden, I didn't know what the heck happen.　Too damn bad :-(

You pretty much summed up exactly what I was thinking. Those first 15 minutes or so made it look totally awesome and then it totally fell apart.

Yeah, I'm with you two on that. I honestly felt kind of ripped off.
The entire movie I was just waiting to get back into the "zone" or even the city, but it all pretty much took place in the chick's room.
