My question is: What was Jimmy's plan after that? If a couple hours went by, and Karen didn't come home after meeting with Jimmy, Henry would know something was wrong. And at that point, why wouldn't he go to the FBI with everything he had. Henry was the one they needed to kill. Karen probably wouldn't have anything significant to give to the Feds.
And why would you ask Henry to go kill some guy in Florida after that? You were obviously going to kill his wife, and you never asked him to kill anybody before. No matter how coked out Henry might have been, even he would be able to see thru that.
This was my big question. Whacking Karen made little sense to me. Henry would immediately put the pieces together and either run for the hills or report Jimmy's ass to the feds, probably both. And besides, whacking Karen seemed pretty pointless. She was in on some things but was never really involved with much crime and was not a member of the family.
