I agree this movie is tremendously underrated. Yes, it's cheesy, but there are some real laugh-out-loud moments. Saw it recently, and it was better than I remembered.

Is this IMDb.com's reason for existence: to foster people's sympathies for trash-cinema that's popularly panned? It seems every horrible picture of the 1980s and '90s dons threads extoling how "great" and "under-rated" it is.
"Ghost Dad" doesn't have 7/10 stars because it's TERRIBLE. It's a bad, bad, bad, bad movie. It's not a cult-classic, it wasn't not ahead of its time, it's not "cute" or "sweet" or clever; it's the devil.
The reason for IMDBs existence is to foster elitist douchebags such as yourself who think their own tastes in movies are the epitomy of class. It's unfortunate that you have nothing better to do than troll the boards of movies you hate. I suppose the reason you're trying to force your unwanted opinion on this movies fans is some abortive attempt to satisfy their own unwarranted sense of superiority.
