I hear this movie is just as scary as the first, if not, scarier! My question is, is this movie scary at all?

Now there are a few odd moments, and a little bit too much forced sound FX to try and creep you out, but on a whole, the movie is genuinely unnerving and well done! It's one of my favorite thrillers!
Just be prepared for some major changes from the original Exorcist novel and the Friedkin movie. Also be prepared for some major changes from Blatty's Legion, if you've read it.

Exorcist 3 actually has more of a "scare factor" since the killer has a long reach and kills who he wants to.
