What were your opinions on Helen and Marge?
I've thought they were better than Joyce and Esmerelda but I didn't like seeing them turn their backs on Edward.

shareBefore they shunned Edward, I guess the two were likable. They lived to gossip and wouldn’t hesitate to turn their backs on someone without getting all the facts first (as they ended up doing), although they never gave me the impression that deep down they were awful people. Not like their fellow housewives anyway.
They embraced Edward unlike that lunatic Esmeralda. And they didn’t spread cruel lies about him after taking advantage of the guy like Joyce did. While their belief that Edward was behind the break-in at Jim’s home was justified (Kim’s own family believed Edward was the sole mastermind), they easily bought into Joyce’s false accusations - who even claimed that she knew there was something wrong about Ed the entire time - and it was maddening.
At the end, they arguably proved to be no better than Joyce. But all in all, despite going along with the torches and pitchforks crowd, these ladies were ok for the most part.
I didn't think that Helen and Marge were all that bad and they both were at least polite & respectful towards Edward.
