Anybody else's favourite Tim Burton movie?

Now I loved Ed Wood, Batman, Big Fish and Sleepy Hollow, but it was Edward Scissorhands that touched me the most. The reason why I do marginally prefer this film over Ed Wood(though that was amazing as well) was not only because of the beautiful visuals, lovely story, Vincent Price's cameo and Johnny Depp's really poignant lead performance, but because of the music score. To me, the score is absolutely amazing, and one of my favourite scores of all time. It really helps to give the film the emotional punch it has I feel.

Does anybody else feel the same?

I would have to say either Sweeney Todd or Ed Wood are number one, but this one's pretty close.

Of course it is.
It's also one of my top 10 movies of all time and Johnny Depp is my favorite actor.

Definitely this one and Mars Attacks.

Didn't really like his other films like, Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow, Batman, Chocolate Factory. I haven't seen Ed Wood, though.

We all live in suspense from day to day; you are the hero of your own story.

I believe ed wood and big fish are his best but yeah this is pretty close. This is the most heart touching one.

reply

His best, together with Big Fish, and Sweeney Todd! An incredible moving, emotional and beautiful film that leaves you speechless!
Masterpiece!

Edward was the movie that turned me into a Burton/Depp film, and one of my favourite childhood movies, so it will always have a special meaning to me.

This is also the first movie I remember watching as a child, so I love it because of that reason to.!

I almost cried during this film, and that's not a thing I do often. However, Johnny can't touch Michael Keaton and his Betelgeuse. Winona was lovely though
