Where did he get all the ice?

I know this is like the stupidest question to ask, but seriously! Like starting with when they're all putting Christmas decorations up and he just happens to have that big block of ice. But then, maybe the family got him that. But where does he get it when he lives in the mansion again? I assume it doesn't snow wherever they live because it doesn't get too cold, so I mean, how does he get or make the ice? I don't know... Confuses me, lol.

*EDIT* Everyone needs to chill with this question. I was just joking, lol. Thanks to those of you who get I'm joking, though. I love this movie; I just think I've seen it so many times that I start questioning everything I see. :P

Are you watching closely?

It's a fairytale. No explanation needed.

First of all, it's a fairy tale. Does it really matter? lol

Second of all, he lived in a giant castle/factory/thingy. I'm sure the inventor had a freezer or some *beep*

reply

Maybe because he'd already done all the shrubs, they'd gotten the ice for him to sculpt for the party??

The best5 answer is that the movie is a fairy tail.

I know what you mean. I've seen this movie so many times I always ask myself the same thing, I mean I accept that it's a fantasy movie and it's beautiful and I still cry every time they show Edward alone in the castle making the Ice Sculptures. And then my stupid adult brain starts asking all the logical questions... I hate being an adult.

WHAT THE FVCK IS A BIEBER????

This movie is just not the kind to think too much about when you watch it, it's best viewed as more of a modern fairy tale than anything else.

My ignore list is quite large.

Despite being a fairy tale, it's possible The Inventor told Edward how he made some or all of his things after teaching him to react and speak and everything.

reply

That's it! He was endowed with endless blocks of ice by his Creator!!

Personally, I found ice arriving without explanation (where I could easily make one up which worked were I minded to, which I'm not) no more difficult to accept than an artificial man with scissors for hands who doesn't need to eat. Ever.
