What exactly is "over the top"? If this clown thinks Edward is a real person, someone needs to set her @$$ straight, whether it be me or her parents, the educational system has obviously failed her.

Your all wrong. He's not a robot. If you watch the special featurette on the DVD.. Johnny Depo states he's not a robot not human he's a creation. Robots don't feel emotions or bleed. So the question of how he works is up to us to decide as an audience.
