When Edward saved Kevin from getting run over by Jim's drunken friend

When Edward saw that Kevin was about to get run over by Jim's friend, Denny who was drunk, he pushed him out of the way and accidentally cut his face and arms which made the whole neighborhood think he was attacking him. That was so sad, wasn't it?

I agree with you!!!!!!! Edward tries only his best, but the problem is that too many people are blind for the good in ones heart. I also nearly cryed when Kim says: "Hold me." and Edward answers "I canĀ“t" :(

When Kim said: "Hold me." and Edward answered "I can't.", because he was afraid that he might hurt her again, so she helped him hold her without hurting her, right?

reply

Yes!!!! It was such a emotional scene, I even think it was bether than the scene when Kim says "I love you" to Edward in the end. The holding scene shows far more, in my opinion.

Scenes like that are more proof of how lovely the movie is. Such a beautiful story.

That scene is heartbreaking, because it is a moment of painful injustice for Edward. One of many. Poor Edward.

I hated that scene! :(

She could have at least stood up for him and said he just saved him from that drunk moron running him over.

I've always disliked that scene. I mean, it's a great moment but what happens to Edward is really unfortunate. Even though I doubt it, I hope the truth got out.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

What bugged me was when the Dad shouts at Edward saying 'get off him' like he was abusing his son.

reply

are you sure it was the dad who yells at Edward to get off him, I always thought it was another guy who was yelling at Edward.
