Great film.

One of my favourites by cruise along with Top Gun.
There's a nice feel to both films something you don't seem to get anymore.
Anyone know what I mean?

I kinda feel like Top Gun and Days of Thunder are the same movie. Plots are very similar.

Of course his co pilot Goose died in Top Gun and Cole only has a bad accident but they amount to the same lost confidence story.

How so? One is about flying in the air force and the other involves car racing

Loses his confidence about flying after Goose dies. Loses his confidence about driving after his accident.

Sure one ends with air fight and the other with winning a race, but both have callbacks to show the characters learned something from their bad experiences.

Uh...the dvd picture quality is terrible & I don't know why? Couldn't enjoy the film because of that.
