Does anybody remember this guy? Even though Strack is kind of the main antagonist in the end, people only remember Durant.
Strack is never mentioned in either of the sequels. He's not even in the Darkman Nintendo game. You fight Durant at the construction site instead of Strack.
It's not anything to do with Colin Friel's, he's terrific in his role, but the filmmakers made a decisive choice to keep Strack from being revealed as the mastermind until the break into Act Three.
Also, Durant overall is a lot more compelling.
He collects th fingers of his enemies, clearly has an affection for Rick (probably a homosexual attraction), he has a pack of colorful henchman, and let's face it Larry Drake is just a bad mother f@cker in this part.
Lest we forget the opening teaser is Durant's amazing introduction when he destroys Eddie Black's syndicate.

Which is weird, because the trailer spoils it completely.
I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?

Yeah the "I know who's been behind our troubles of late" line sort of reveals he's a baddie, but trailers are supposed to be out of context, so someone seeing it might assume he's a partner or pawn of the villains initially. The movie reveals that he's actually running the show.
It's similar to Dick Jones in the RoboCop trailer. He says "he's a cyborg you idiot! You're gonna have to kill it." But you don't see he's talking to Clarence Boddicker until the film.

Are you sure? I don't recall the game actually identifying the man you fight. And since Strack is the one Darkman fistfights on the building, I just assumed that was him in the game.
