No, it doesn't. It still holds up pretty well. Hollywood needs to stop remaking classic movies. Have you seen Footloose, Red Dawn, Robocop, Total Recall, the Fog, Halloween, or A Nightmare on Elm Street? Prosecution rests.

Not gonna lie, the thought of seeing this character in a slightly more updated version does interest me. Good movie remakes are few and far between, but if Raimi was somehow involved, it could be worth it.
