Are we suppose to feel bad for the rich white guy who was guilty as *beep* Granted he was totally getting rail roaded but still it's usually the other way around.
How bad should we feel the one time it goes the other way. And the acting,Good God Jesus, it was over the top. I get that's the point but Jesus, Looney Tunes don't act that cartoonish.

What's funny is that he's made to be extremely unlikeable in the book. Hanks and the film tried to make Sherman likeable, in order to get him sympathy. The book paints him completely different and he's a total turd in the novel.

Novel was excellent... Sherman is a total turd in it...Tom Hanks was seriously miscast.

But it was a great book, written by Tom Wolfe. This isn't a good adaptation. The actors were miscast, starting with Tom Hanks. Not really sure who would have done this fine book justice.

What a shame.
