I am just putting this here because I felt this movie deserved at least one post. For those that havn't seen it I recommend it immensly.

i had to google in the plot to get the name of the movie- and after some 15 years i get the name TODAY!:):) (i knew it wasn't mr wrong) and into a rare discussion also!( so well done for starting it)
i only watched it once well over 10 years ago, im a big fan of classic jap cars especialy luxury ones such as the ornately charming nissan cedric and yes this film is a great aussie movie alongside the money movers(which also features a lot of datsuns)
theres a growing scene for jap classics and i will make sure that the many clubs are aware of this rare gem of a movie

I have always loved this movie. Ben Mendelsohn is so very, very good and I love Claudia. I am currently watching her in Love My Way and as usual, she is the best.

I saw it once ages ago (I liked it so much I always remembered the title) just trying to find a copy on DVD!

Very good (You guys make some great films, moulin rouge, sommersault), oh and i'm British BTW.

This film has been out for 24 years, there should be special edition for the 30th anniversary?

I have no idea why you're replying to a comment I made seven years ago but anyway...I have no idea about a special edition, haha. In all honesty I had forgotten this film existed until a few minutes ago!

Just bought it on amazon, still waiting for it to arrive. Never seen it, but after reading that Damon Herriman was in it, I was interested :) Glad there are so many positive things on this movie :)
