This is one of my favourite films.
I'd love to know where this was filmed and the address of the house in this film. It turns out Claudia Karvan was my neighbour about two years ago and when I finally found out she had moved!.

I know that they filmed around St Kilda (near Luna Park) for one scene and I believe the car yard was located in the northern suburbs, possibly Coburg.
shareDanny's parents house is halfway between Seddon and footscray stations as you head into town. you can see the Norfolk pine is still there.
shareThe car yard is located at 581 Victoria street, Richmond although it doesn't look the same as it once did and the exact address for Danny's house is 129 Albert street, Seddon.

shareI THINK the high school may be the old Coburg High School. But its long gone and I'm not sure. I know about Gallipoli parade cos I was living in the street when they made the film and all the kids hung around as close as they could to watch it.
Oh. and the Car Park? Its the Golden Square Carpark off Londsale Stree, but in the film they used the back entrance in Little Bourke Street.

shareI believe the High School was the old corrospondance school in Albert Park, or at least the scene out the front was. This is given away buy the tram going over the viaduct on the St.Kilda Lightrail Line.
