Lowells blimp

It was! I can see why he was so sad when Joe and Roy caused its demise.

And the only ep where Lowell was truly funny. Somewhat of a stock character (Bull on 'Night Court', Ed of 'Norther Exposure' - both better as the lovable, innocent simp)- he gets do do some acting and is pretty good when Joe and Roy manage to destroy several years of his life in one fell swoop. ("Captain Jasbow!!!")You could really feel his pain - unlike when Bunny sleeps with everyone and you still don't feel sorry for him (even if he does deserve it) in trying to see the good in her.

Yes, that blimp (or was it a zeppelin?) was a truly amazing work of dedication!

Unfortunately they telegraphed what would happen to it, which cast a pall over the entire episode for me. And when the inevitable did happen, it didn't seem funny at all, because I was imagining how I'd feel if that was my blimp.

Not my favorite episode!
