Where were all the flights to?
Was there a list of towns that sandpiper flew to? What was the farthest destination?

In an episode of "Chasing Life", which happened to star Steve Weber and Rebecca Schull, George (Weber) and Sara (Mary Page Keller) are stuck in Chicago and are looking at the airlines that fly to Boston. Sara says, "Sandpiper Air??? I've never even heard of Sandpiper Air". My wife had to ask me why I was laughing.
That Chicago thing was a joke, though. I don't think Sandpiper actually flew much out of the New England area, although I believe they did go to New York.
Earth without art is just "eh."
That Chicago thing was a joke, ...On one hand ... Aren't jokes the primary objective of a situation comedy? On the other hand, I did realize that was an after-the-fact joke, which is why I prefaced my post with,

It wasn't a joke in the world of the show, it was a joke at the expense of the show. Big, big difference.

I've never seen Chasing Life, but assuming that they didn't dwell on the Sandpiper joke, it provided a laugh for Wings fans while not hurting the episode. Sort of an Easter egg.
Sometimes you can see the list of flights on the board behind Faye. Generally they flew to Boston, New York, Providence, Hyannis Port and I believe Connecticut.
shareI'm watching season two. They have flights to Boston, Hyannis, Provincetown, Martha's Vineyard, and New Bedford, all in Massachusetts.
Roy's airline (Aeromass?) flew to Boston, Portland, Hartford, New York, and Newark.
That is interesting. I believe they mentioned several different places over the years. I could have gotten Roy's board mixed up with Sandpipers though.
shareI think I have the answer for the "farthest destination." I remember an episode where Carlton won a free flight ANYWHERE*. And ended up cajoling them into flying to Las Cruces, New Mexico.
* where somebody (Brian?) forgot to put limitations when offering a raffle or auction for a flight.
