It's the most overrated show of all time. No doubt.
It's NY Media at it's very worst.
It failed on syndication via cable TV in the 2000's (TBS...I think actually airs following "Family Matters)...
HULU spent then records numbers to acquire it. And there was a pass to Netflix.
I think "Happy Days" is even bigger from the 70's than of than "Happy Days".
...
What? It won a couple of Emmy's. Didn't become a top 10 hit until after it moved into the "Cheers" slot on Thursday night.
Does anyone actually here think "Seinfeld" would have fared better on Tuesday nights than "Frasier"?
LOL...
I mean, what SNL would be with just a "laugh track"? or even "Kimmel"/"Conan"/"Colbert"/"Fallon".
They would suck.
At it's prime, how many times did Kramer walk into a door with falling?
Just a guess...60?
And Jerry's grown into being just a self righiouts dick now in 2020.
"This show's gonna last longer...than "I Love Lucy""..
LOL
Meanwhile Vanna touches a will and Pat pushing 70 gets bigger ratings than these fools.
And the rest of the cast couldn't walk into a network/cable/streaming studio and demand anything less than a 13 episode order.
Well Jerry easily could...
Elaine, Kramer and George all failed series after series. So maybe not so much there.
"Bob Batterson"
"The Michael Richards Show"
"The New Adventures of Old Christine" was a moderate success than lasted 4 seasons.
...
It took Dreyfuss (the best character of the show) to score a hit after a decade. And even now that's gone to pass.
Ironic, but here former series is probably watched more than "Veep".
To much laugh track and not actual laughter. To many TV Guide and EW write-up covers and bull shit reviews by Rolling Stone and the NY media type.
Those single cameras comedy's suck even more than the single ones.
The single ones all seems to die in 2 or 3 years later.
They all sucked damnit! :(
