What's wrong with 'The Frogger'? I thought it was exciting and fun that a mainstream show like Seinfeld acknowledges and respects, even pays homage to an old Arcade game classic!
Back in those days, arcade and video games were not things masses even knew about, let alone respected. They were some nuisance in the fringe that your kid was stupidly obsessed with, if she was a retard. It was worse than cartoons, it was some ridiculous, 'bleepy-bloopy' crap that no adult in their right mind would ever respect or accept as valid form of entertainment.
How things have changed..
It might not be the best classic Seinfeld episode, but all the elements are there; Kramer couldn't be more kramery, Seinfeld is his usual self, George loses as always, and the Frogger homage with REAL traffic is hilarious, although pretty badly done. The thing that MOSTLY irks me about this episode is that in the real Frogger game, there's only room for TWO letters in the highscore list, so George couldn't have put three letters in there, unless it was some really weird hack of the game and not authentic Frogger machine.
I don't get why you would hate it that much, can you specify WHAT exactly is wrong with it? I hate when people just state their (usually wrong) opinion and then FAIL to base it on anything.
Come on, just explain WHY you think it's bad, maybe I can see your point. So far, I don't see much wrong with the episode, except Kramer's really nasty and repulsive 'friend'. He's really obnoxious and annoying.
