Shipp starred on CBS' short-lived The Flash from 1990 to 1991. “After seven years, this just might be the coolest thing we’ve ever done," tweeted executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

So he really is coming back as the original Barry and not Jay? (at least for guest shot, that is)

The trailer identifies him as being from Earth 90. Nice way to commemorate the series.
