Would you buy a new TV series inspired comic?

I really love this show, and think it would have gone on to incredible heights had it not been cancelled by the dimwits running CBS at the time.

I am also a fan of artist Alex Ross' incredible painted art for DC comics, and thought it would be awesome if he did a fully painted follow up series to the Flash TV show.

Just imagine...the return of the Trickster, Captain Cold, and Mirror Master!
And that would just be the premier issue! They could introduce Gorilla Grodd, the Pied Piper, and bring back some old favorites like Pollux and the Deadly Nightshade. I think a 6 to 12 issue mini-series would be perfect!

What do the rest of you think?

I think THE FLASH's cancellation had to do with
the fact that it ran up against THE COSBY SHOW,
which aired at the same timeslot!

According to an interview with John Wesley Shipp, it was all about the budget.

CBS had over $100,000 wrapped up in four Flash costumes, and the FX budget was astronomical. The hyper speed FX involved shooting the same scenes 6 to 12 times in order to layer the composites of the Flash running. Then post production would have to go in and add the blur FX. At the time, it was the most expensive television series in history.
