Its about a mask - the mask of rasputin loaned to Central City Museum....and guess who donated it??? Thats right, the wealthy Mr. Wayne:) Pity they didn't show him in the series :(

OMG MR WAYNE AKA THE BATMAN
U MADE A THREAD ABOUT THIS WHAT A WASTE

reply

We're all comic book nerds here. This thread is definitely not a waste. Any reference to Batman is automatically cool, because he's Batman.

reply

Yeah... Tina McGee references a "Carter Hall of the Midway City Museum" in one of the early episodes - may even be that same one. Anyway, Carter Hall is Hawkman's secret identity.

If you look in the background of the costume ball in the Trickster ep, there's somebody in a Superman costume.

reply

Maybe the show couldn't get rights to the Batman character, so they probably couldn't include Bruce Wayne/Batman in the actual series, just reference him. I guess it was easier to reference "Mr. Wayne" than to say Look it's Batman.

In the 3rd episode Dr. McGee asked her "assistant" the undercover investigator to take a message if Carter Hall calls. He's Hawkman in the comics.

reply

OP, which part of that episode they mention Mr. Wayne? Because theres a Ms. Wayne and she's the assistant of the head creator of the museum and she also tried to steal the mask.

reply

actually considering that Batman and Superman were shown on a Movie Marquee as a Double feature clearly they are Fictional Characters within the Flash-Verse
