Only just found out that Biff Manard, who played Officer Murphy died last year, making him the first of the main cast to pass on. His death seems to have really flown under most people's radar. I did a search when I saw a death date listed on his imdb page and it was hard to find any articles. Sad that he passed so soon before the new series. Given that Mike Genovese has appeared as his partner Bellows on the new show (among other cast members) it seems likely he would have been offered a guest appearance had he survived.

one correction

Mike Genovese was the Police Chief ... Vito D'Ambrosio Played Bellows (Murphy's partner) and has popped up on Flash 2014 as Mayor Bellows 9much like Pays and Hamill have appears as characters, sharing the names of their Flash 90 characters

a note on Biff Menard; while surely he too would have gotten a guest spot; but if you look at his resume you'll notice he was something of a good luck charm to Flash 90's Producers Bilson and DeMeo; as he appeared in almost all of their projects
