The costume, body and the actor all make the character much more convincing and interesting than the CW's Flash whom is rather a bit too skinny and their costume just sort of pales in comparison.
Amanda Pays back in the 90's was amazingly beautiful. How time flies!
By the way, on Episode 5 they used the Nintendo Power Glove and some crappy VR or lookalike. Kind of hard to ignore that.
I don't like the CW version of The Flash. The 90's version was so much more entertaining and the characters were actually old enough to shave. CW has characters that look like they're not even out of high school yet. It's a joke!
shareI just watched the show’s pilot episode episode the first time since it aired. Shipp and the the Flash suite are RIDICULOUSLY better than any other Flash look since then. Shipp looks like a man who has the muscles to CLOCK a bad guy with needing to resort to esoterica like “lightning punches.” I also noticed that Flash circa 1990 kept the comic book pseudo-science bullshit to a minimum.

shareI thought Ezra Miller's suit in The Flash (2023) was the best one in the DCEU, but I agree that JWS's suit was the best overall. It really tied into that Burton aesthetic (funnily enough, young Barry wears a suit made out of one of BatKeaton's old costumes in The Flash).
