Which show suffered more from Shannen Doherty's departure, 90210 or Charmed?

It is fascinating though that Shannen was on each respective show for a lesser amount of time than the women who replaced her (Tiffani Thiessen/Valerie and Rose McGowan/Paige).

Charmed it was a smaller cast of key members. Hated seeing Rose's skinny legs which she loved to show off as well.

Beverly Hills 90210...show was supposed to center around the Walshes and the other characters were supposed to react to them and what they did.

Charmed it was about 'sisters' okay fine they can be changed out.

I think in 90210 you had a lot of the supporting characters just be more interesting than the Walsh's which didn't help. Happens on a lot of shows.

Charmed did carry on smoothly though without Shannon.

Charmed. By season 4 the show had become more of an ensemble cast with much less focus on the Walsh family. Charmed was about the magical trinity of the sisters, it made no sense after she was gone.

Didn’t watch Charmed much, but I imagine losing a superpower is tough, can’t remember McGowen’s gift...90210 had plenty without the Brenda storyline, not a big loss in hindsight and the show went 10 years and like 250-something episodes...

Charmed, only because I think Rose McGowan is a very poor actress.
