I noticed that Donna and Brenda were the only two of the gang that took their break ups to heart. I can see Donna taking her break up with David pretty hard because that was her first love. Then Brenda being hurt over Kelly and Dylan I can understand her pain. I do remember Dylan was the only guy that took a break up to heart, remember when Brenda broke up with him in season 1 or 2?

shareBrandon was devastated when Susan left (it took him the whole summer to recover and even longer). Then he was pretty sad when Kelly left him after he cheated on her (his fault) and was not able to go on with his life. So yes, I think he was sensitive.
David was also very sad when Donna left him and started a relationship with Noah.
I remember that, he took a break up with Kelly and Susan pretty hard. Most of the time it seem like he go from one woman to the next.
I'm not sure if Steve was ever hurt I wanted to say he was hurt by Clare break up.
Yeah, Steve was hurt when Celeste left him (he even admitted it's the first time he's in love with a girl since Kelly and the very first time he's loved for who he is) and he was very hurt when Clare left (but slept with Valerie that very night, so disappointing...)
