Kelly was such a brat

In the Senior Poll Episode.

"Don't forget to smile for the camera." I wonder if Dylan was thinking, as he sat there in his tuxedo all by himself, "I really should have chosen Brenda".

I love how they were both complaining about being voted best looking. How terrible for them!

I can actually sympathize with Kelly there. Beauty can be a curse. I was very beautiful in high school too...It was an extremely hard time in my life. Men treated me like I was just a piece of ass and other women were hostile and saw me only as competition. I could never get close to anyone. It really sucked.

Kelly had a difficult time coming to terms with her looks. What's interesting is that she put such an emphasis on her beauty and then became angry when people recognized it.

In Episode 1 when she pulled up to school Steve asked her if she got a nose job. She also talks about being overweight when she was younger. So she wasn't always "perfect." Jackie was a model so that certainly made an impression on Kelly's psyche as well.

I've always wondered what Kelly looked like pre nose job, it makes you wonder.

reply

Haha right, it's better then being voted most likely not to succeed.

They should've been lucky that they won that title. Kelly's looks were always overrated so I highly doubt she was the best looking and Dylan was never good looking. If Kelly had a decent personality then I'm sure people would take notice of it. Didn't Donna win a bunch of undeserved senior polls?

If I'm remembering correctly she won-

(1.) Most Naive
(2.) Best Dressed
(3.) Best Laugh

reply

Well the first one is accurate.
