Donna the doormat

Donna's character was always pretty annoying to me- just the way she acted around men. The constant neediness just made me want to puke.

Her pathetic attempt to get David back during Freshman year was just painful to watch. Every time the phone would ring- "Is that David?" And then when it wasn't David she would crumble into a big pile of goo. I'm surprised she was able to pass any of her classes, she was so obsessed w/ David & making him happy.

Next it's Griffin. She dates him for like a millisecond & already refer to him as her boyfriend. Needy, just needy, for someone to care for her.

And then Ray comes along & she's even more pathetic w/ him. The guy obviously has an anger problem & she chooses to ignore it & run after him again & again.

Psycho man comes over & smashes all the pumpkins he gave you & instead of running for the hills you decide to run to him, kiss his ass, & basically beg for forgiveness.

And on top of all that, you date him for what, like 2 months, & then announce to your mother that if he asked you to marry him you would.

My top 3 words to describe Donna-

Pathetic
Needy
Desperate

Sorry, Donna- virgin is not one of them.

Apparently Griffin was the only person who didn't know she was a virgin.

Lord knows everyone else on the planet seemed to know. She should have worn her "I'm a virgin!" shirt to Catalina.

Or better yet, get matching shirts to wear w/ her current boyfriend of the week-

"I'm A Virgin!"- for her

And...

"I'm With A Virgin"- for him

I will say that I was pretty on board with the Donna character in high school and thought the virgin story was fine. I think she made a nice supporting character. I started to hate Donna in season 5. Tori was not cut out for a main role and with the slutty wardrobe, makeup and face eating, the Donna virgin storyline no longer worked. And then they added sanctimonious into her character's personality and was all down hill from there.

I agree I think in her freshman year of college or after high school graduation they should have had Donna loose her virginity to David. After high school you pretty much an adult and out of your parents house.
