So, seeing that a lot of old TV shows are making a comeback, what would the premise be for getting the gang back together? Obviously we're not going for a full season, just an 8-10 episode story that unites the gang for a final time.
I'd have it being based around the CU 20 yr reunion celebrations along with many other sideplots, but we need a reason and the reunion party is it.
Any other thoughts on how they could be brought back?
"All those things I can do, all those powers. And I couldn't even save him."
Brenda and Dylan reunite and decide to FINALLY make their on/off, 25 year love affair official and get engaged. Everyone is invited to the wedding, and there is of course one final showdown between Kelly and Brenda. Kelly is just not having it, and is furious at the thought of Brenda becoming Sammy's step mom...who is now himself..a brooding and rebellious teenager like his father.
Brandon decides to return to L.A and run for some type of political office. Various women from his past dish the dirt on him to the media and chaos ensues.
Steve is now divorced, and caught up in a huge, insider trading/mlm fraud scheme. Brandon, now a successful attorney...has to once again, come to his rescue.
Donna's mother Felice, is now penniless and almost homeless after making foolish financial decisions and being ripped off by a new husband who turned out to be a fortune hunting con artist. Kind of like Derek Driscoll who ripped Valerie off.
I thought the exact same thing. Nat would die just after the CU reunion to reunite the characters who've been fighting during the mini series after years of unresolved issues.

I wonder if 90210 has that much pull or fandom to warrant say a 10-13 episode series on Netflix? It's def I could see maybe Netflix giving a shot especially after Fuller House
steve is getting remarried to a vegas showgirl named tootsie. and it's not just a wedding. it's a new evolution milledding. and performing the milledding is prof. patrick finley. b/c steve has reached torchbearer status finley will graciously perform the wedding himself. kel must come to terms with her betrayal of the new evolution & her lack of evolving. bran the man must deal with being a unevolved rough beast. rush sanders tries to not get reflexive during the reception after 7 martinis. val serves as one of tootsie's bridesmaids as she has reached pathfinder status.
The food I've liked in my time is American country cookin'-Colonel Sanders 🇺🇸
I'd also have Steve being a divorcee. He'd have two kids with Janet and they remain amicable. His daughter would be enrolling in CU, while his son attends WBH.
I'd have Claire brought back as the new Chancellor of CU and the first female to have such an honor in many years. She too would be a divorcee with teenage son.
This brings back old feelings for both characters who haven't seen each other since their breakup on the beach, and drags up many unresolved issues the both of them have yet to address with the other.

nat decides to run for president as an independent candidate.
his slogan?
🍔 make lunch great again! 🍟
bran the man is working as party hack for the dnc and hillary, he assumes nat is running for prez b/c he doesn't like trump, and he goes back with great joy to see nat, alas, nat is running it's b/c he doesn't like hillary. the rest of the series is about bran the man trying to blow up nat in the parking lot, but nat gets word of the plot via josh richland's ghost.
"Hipness is not a state of mind, it's a fact of life!" - Cannonball Adderley
Brenda becoming a veterinarian and helping animals like Wally and Rocky. Andrea can be some mean scientist doing her test on animals like in the one episode.
Felice Martin, Defendant. Felice is being sued by many people because of her actions towards the 'lower class'. just as one settlement is made, she is served again by someone else. will she ever learn?
Brandon is on the run in Chicago after trying to 'ese' his way out of an altercation only to get someone else shot. although he didn't pull the trigger the family of the shooting victim is after Brandon because he is always pulling this shi7 despite the fact that he is a flabby, pasty short boy.
Steve is now divorced from Janet and has full custody of Madeline and is happy but financially strapped. Celeste comes back into his life, now unattached and they start a relationship. things seem to be going well when both Carly AND Clair return for another go with Mr Blonde.
The religious upbringing of Madeline... with the godparents... uppity snob 'I am better than you' Kelly and 'who gives a damn, but someone had better give me a beer' Dylan.
Matt durning returns wanting to make amends with Kelly despite the fact that he had a baby with his dead brother's wife. oh, yeah, he also networks naked and is 30 thousand in debt.
