It seems like the final three videos picked to win are never that funny

Seriously, I have been watching some episodes of this on Netflix. My daughter always gets a laugh out of it. But I always wonder how they pick the three finalists out of all the videos. The finalists are never as funny as half of the other videos shown...they usually don't even make me smile. And they almost ALWAYS involve young children or babies. I've actually gotten really good at picking the finalists as we watch the show, and am almost always right. Just pick the most boring ones that involve kids and you'll have the three finalists!

It's usually a baby video that wins. Something stupid like a baby sneezing or has a boogie in its nose. The best videos don't even make it to th final 3.

I couldn't agree more. I'm afraid this show has jumped the shark. Very predictable, and they now pick 3 completely unfunny bits to compete at the end.

Jumped the shark? It's always been like that ever since back when Bob Saget hosted the show. It's always three of the least funniest videos that make the finals.

Just a theory. Some of the really funny clips are ones where people are pulling incredibly stupid and dangerous stunts that go wrong, but no one gets hurt. While funny enough to air, the producers probably don't want to reward stupidity. I love the laughing quad babies and think they deserved the money. I watch that clip on youtube all the time.
