Arty/punk
In the original scriptbook, some details are spelt out and some are not. Soderbergh says that Graham's car is a 1969 Cutlass (means very little to me except the fact that it clearly was not the latest model!) and Ann's hair is described as "luxuriant tresses" (obviously anticipating all those annoying L'Oreal ads). However, Graham's appearance is described very vaguely as "arty/punk". I wonder at what stage they decided on the blue jeans and black shirts (throughout).
