No topic on what happened to John?

Boy, the picture didn't paint a good picture for his future, did it? No more wife, no more sex, no more client, and most likely, no more job. What do you think became of him?

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

John wasn't that unattractive. Totally charmless, but the more I see of Peter Gallagher in The OC, the more I realise that he was only pretending to have had a charisma bypass when he played John. But I am sure he could find plenty of other women who wanted a red blooded male who made a pretty decent salary or whatever that line was.

I think he managed to get laid again.

Even if he lost his job, he would probably rely on savings until he got another one. Whilst probably pretending to naive female sexual partner that he had never been unemployed.

Oops; by no more sex, I meant no more "free" sex by cheating on his wife with her sister. Yes, he managed to get laid again.

As for savings, eh, I don't agree. He struck me as the type for whom image is everything; and thus he lived far beyond his means. A junior partner living in a house like that? I don't think so. I say he didn't have much in the way of savings to fall back on, and had to take a job as an associate at a third-rate ambulance chasing plaintiff's firm. Like several that I interviewed for.

Okay, maybe the house was a bit posh. I wouldn't know. I thought that Lee's parents' house in Secretary was far too nice, considering her father's unreliability, her mother's lack of paid employment, etc, but I was told by Americans that they had probably got it cheap in the 1970s and her dad had probably been a good employee till the sister's wedding.

It's all very confusing.
