Ugh, I want this on my wall now. I also want Laura's boots, dress and charisma.
It's funny how she was the fourth listed cast member but the one they showed most of on the video packaging!
Penelope is a full-grown horse, and today happens to be my half-birthday!
Yeah I always found that strange. Possibly because Laura alone on the bed in black dress and boots, is such a stark, memorable, stripped-down image that works well on a poster campaign. There was a similar US poster for The Crying Game, a noirish B & W shot of Miranda Richardson holding a smoking gun, with Stephen Rea and Jaye Davidson nowhere to be seen; in that case it worked better than the overly busy, crowded European poster.
